Anthropomorphism in heavenly religions

Abstract

This is a study in which I addressed the problem of anthropomorphism, which is considered a serious disease that has afflicted the three monotheistic religions. Considering that these are books and texts that everyone can read

The problem is that there are words that mislead their reader into the face of Shah between the Creator and the Creator, when talking about the Creator, Glory be to Him, such as hand, face, foot, and so on. Some have fallen into likening God Glory be to His creation, describing the Great Creator, Glory be to Him, and the length and breadth of those who seek, and some have fallen into anthropomorphism, and it is known that the body is a composite union. Two or more essences, and the width is what is created by something else. The body is like the face and the hand, and the width is like power and knowledge, and so on, the two are co-occurring.

The other went the opposite way in order to see his Creator, so he canceled all the texts that had been mentioned that gave the illusion of resembling the Creator to his creation, so he eliminated the face, the hand, and the foot, and so on, so he fell into the forbidden, which is obstruction, and from here I took a model of one of these, which is the three religions, and I will present some evidence for this through the texts in the research. It began with an introduction to defining the body and anthropomorphism linguistically and terminologically, then I based the research on a Qur’anic approach, then the first chapter dealt with anthropomorphism among the Jews through the Torah, then a Quranic view of the subject, then I did the same thing with Christianity, then the second chapter dealt with anthropomorphism among Islamic sects, and the opinion of scholars on this subject of anthropomorphism.
